WCSS December Board Meeting

The December WCSS Board meeting will be hosted by Paula De Hart.
Saturday, December 12 in Stevens Point

The WCSS meeting will be held in Rm. 209 of the College of Professional Studies Bldg., 1901 Fourth Avenue. There is a nice big lot behind the CPS building (Lot E) which is off of Isadore Street where everyone can park without charge.

Social Sciences Career Day

My name is Glena Temple, and I am the Dean of Letters and Sciences at Viterbo University. On Saturday November 7, 2009 Viterbo University will be hosting a “Social Sciences Career Day” aimed at providing useful information to current high school juniors and seniors, and college freshman and sophomores on careers in the social sciences. Faculty members and alumni from psychology, social work, criminal justice, sociology, visual communication, and organizational communication will provide interactive sessions to inform you about career options in these areas.

Visitors will also get to interact with current students at Viterbo who are majoring in these fields. This event will be useful to students who are interested in careers in this area, whether you are interested in attending Viterbo University or not. There is no cost for this event, and lunch will be provided. Your family members and friends are welcome to join you at this event. WCSS May Board Meeting

The WCSS Board will meet in Chippewa Falls, WI on Saturday, 19 May 2007 at the Korger Chestnut. Please contact your host, Jeff Newton ASAP and let him know if you will be attending.

Directions: This is the same place where we met last spring. The building is called Korger Chestnut, 140 West Elm Street , Chippewa Falls , WI 54729 . From Highway 29 take exit 79, Seymour Cray Blvd. exit. Go north to downtown. Once you are entering downtown you will be on Bridge Street . Go through town through all the lights to the north end and turn left at the stop sign onto Elm street . At the top of the hill you will see Korger Chestnut. Park in the rear.
